Hello all. Just ordered myself a Dreamline classic in .25cal from Palm Beach Air. My question is do I have to run the FX scope mounts or will any tall ring work to use the big mag ? Thanks so much

I had issues with my UTG pro rings, they were not high enough to get the adjustment box on the scope high enough.
Initially i went ahead and bought some FX rings, but then I switched to the tac kit, with the higher picatinny rail, and never had a though about it since.

I got by with the BKL mediums / single screw on my Classic. Guess it depends on your eye relief... whether or not the adjustment box of scope clears, but I have ample clearance for the mag.

I had one and tried to use UTG high rings. Not high enough. I finally got some Sportsmatch extra high rings which worked well. You want part no. HT071. These are for scopes with 30MM tubes.

I ditched the giant FX mag in favor of the carm mag ,it is smooth and easy to load.i didn't need skyscaper expensive FX rings.
