new FX Impact MK2 PP leaks air but way small to hear

I have not shot the Impact for about a week but every day taking it out from the case to baby it :) and of course I push the button on the gauge only to see different - lower numbers every day.

Last time last week I know I fill it up to 250 and left it to sleep, today morning before test shooting it was below 220. So as I sad not an alarming but feels like having a pimple in a bottom :) For sure can live with that until goes away but feels like kind of little bit uncomfortable.

Posting about it won't find the leak, balloon/bag didnt inflate when taped on the end of the barrel right?

So valve seems to not be the problem.

Did you fill to 250 again and check the area under the valve adjuster? How about at the area behind and above grip? Top of the muzzle side of plenum.

You can also put dish soap around the threads of the gauges and see if they bubble. That would check if its leaking at the threads. You can also tape a piece of shopping bag around the edmu to see if the guage itself is leaking inside. LOTS of things you can do to find the leak.

Boy 2-3 bar is a small measurement. I fill in the evening a by mornining see bar difference because of air cooling. Reverse comming in at noon set gun in car will go 20-30 bar up. I would think one would need more data time to confirm leak, like a week in constant temp. I may be wrong on gauge but think it is no more accurate than a regular as it just converts to digital, just numbers for you to read.

Digital gauges can be more accurate...not just easier to read. Mechanical gauges are not as easy to calibrate accurately...especially the cheap small manometers they put in airguns. I suspect there is no actual calibration that happens with them on the production line. On the other hand, a digital pressure gauge use a piezometer and are very accurate and calibration is just a matter of updating a number in a table in the software.

Sure they are more accurate but come with their own problems. Dont work well in cold, face plate spins, changing battery is a pita. They turn off too fast. I had an edmu used it for a while then got a wika. Quick look and theres your pressure.
