Hey guys this is tech again. I posted on here the other day that I had just purchased an FX Impact and was expecting it any day. Well, I won't give you the long version so let me just say this. I put my scope on, zeroed the gun at apprx 24 yds. then shot it at 49yds and it might have been about 1/4" low or so. Point, this thing is sick accurate. I've been reading a few things on here about issues with the Impact and the company's quality control. The folks at AoA told me they defiantly get more Impacts returned for service but they also sell a lot of them. They said the Impacts have a lot more stuff to go wrong as compared to other pellet guns. All I can say is, I'm stoked at the looks, feel, and accuracy of this thing! I hope it lasts! It's hammer time ground hogs!!! Any of you Impact guys have any good advice for me? I'm new to the PCP world.

1. Don't mess with the regulator, thats where most people get into problems (even tho they won't admit it).
2. You'll get a lot more shots & a much flatter shot string by slightly adjusting the valve (opposed to being wide open). Take a look at some different settings I found http://www.airgunnation.com/topic/fx-impact-25-chrony-strings/?view=all

What caliber did you get? I'd say .30 cal is good for hog hunting. You should also get a chronograph to see what speeds your guns like to shoot and test what pellets it may like. Then stock em up for the apocalypse 
. Jk. I'd even suggest to check out the cool adjustments that Ernest Rowe has on getting maximum power on the power wheel. Make sure you don't turn the power wheel while the gun is cocked or else it will void the warranty I think.
