I just ordered a FX MKIII in .30. Is there anything yall would recommend I do when I get it? Any pellet suggestions? Tuning? Ect ect....

My recommendation. Shot the dang thing! Haha no really I would read the manual watch videos on tunning so you understand how it works. Get a chronograph so you know how the pellet speed and you are able to fine tune. Never tune the hammer spring adjustments when the gun is cocked. Have fun!

This should shoot JSB 44.75 gr pellets very well right out of the box. Shoot a few tins, then figure out where you want to go with this.

Before you hit the "knobs" i would thoroughly shoot it as is, some peeps will probably post what pellets to try out first.
It is not a bad idea to get a range of pellets to test with, sometimes a rifle can be a little odd, and shoot better with stuff others have less success with.

I bought an M3 in .25 cal. Loving it, plenty of power and accurate. Had it for a while now and have had zero issues. I ordered O-rings just in case, but I do that for every gun when they make the sizes available.

They like JSB Hades. Enjoy it and don't go out of your way to mess with it too much. For a tune, just call the techs at FX USA and they'll point you in the right direction.

you hit the nail on the head right there brother!
i mean,
of course you have to learn something to be able to do it,
but too many people without any knowledge of airguns whatsoever
jump right into an impact and start turning every knob/screw,
before they understand what they are doing.

heres a very good basic tuning video for the impact m3,
its only 5 minutes or so,
but ernest knows his stuff,
and it will give you a good basic understanding of how the adjustments work in harmony with each other,
instead of maxing everything out like alot of new to fx owners do.

I highly recommend getting some FX Hybrid Slugs! Fantastic accuracy and devastating performance on game!

How do you like the tatsu on the compact? Do you think it does better than the donnyfl fx can?

dont know,the compact does not come with one of the fx cans.
it works great though,and keeps it a little shorter overall.
