FX New FX Pistol!

Such an overly engineered gun, weird loading and cocking, and even the way to put on the carbine is weird where you have to twist the lower portion stock.

You call it weird; I think of it as innovative

just my new sense

FX. Well, if they can bring it in under (at) $400 might be fun to tinker with. Actual barrel or soda straw? Naturally if it is made for the Halo ammo, not my cup of tea.
Did like the FX (of old?) Ranchero.

Fx under $400. Not likely. I’ll be shocked if it’s less than $800

it seems like where it has potential would be to have a decent sized plenum while not losing precious cylinder volume, and that might kick it into the category of not being just yet another accurate single shot PCP pistol because I am imagining that giving it some edge in performance somehow. One surprise for me is the cocking lever - seems a bit like overkill as far as leverage goes unless this thing has a really strong spring... it's actually kind of cool in its own way with the way with the pop-out tray, so this is not a gripe. I was expecting something a little smaller - like the PP 700 thumb hammer i guess. I was surprised at the mechanism when i saw it.

Time will tell for sure. Even a standard m9 is a pain to clean and keep running to many parts. But theres also the forgotten H&K p9 overly designed but runs like a swiss watch so hopefully it goes the right way. My apologies I know those are firearms its just what popped to mind.

My wallet is shivering...
Looks like it's supposed to be pretty well under 1k if the rumors are true. They need something more accessible that showcases fx machining quality and performance to a wider buyer range. I'm buying one, but not if it's 1k. They've got enough of my money for a while.

I wonder if it has less than 600 0 rings,
It's not that bad. My impact scared me at first but once you understand the system it's not nearly as scarry as putting orings on the valve and guage block into an mrod or crosman product with Insufficiently deburred thru holes on the main tube. First mrod rebuild was 3 kits till i got out a rotoburr and chamfered everything on the tube. 😅

BTW, the RUMOR is its around the 500 dollar mark. I'd be astonished if they pull it off, but i will have one anyhow.
