New FX Slow Twist barrels.

Ha, just found the answer after a few more minutes searching. "Superior Heavy" twist rate in .30 1:18 and slow twist 1:37. That is a crazy amount of change for sure. Just bought the "Heavy" not sure if the "Slow Twist" would be better or not as yet as, I have not seen anything on the results of shooting the slow twist.
Keep us posted. Thanks

Well this sucks.

I spent 27 days last summer trying to find the pellet/tune for my one 30 cal barrel that was accurate (20 shot group < 2" EtoE) at 100 yards under normal wind conditions at our outdoor range.

Every pellet tested that was accurate at 50 yards (20 round group <1" EtoE) spiraled past 70 yards and when I slowed them down to stop the spiraling, the accuracy was horrible due to wind drift.

So I set my max distance at 60 yards and ordered a new 600 mm barrel from Mr. Buck at Cape Fear Airguns.

My 30 cal M3 currently has the 700 mm barrel but I don't need the extra 100 mm for 60 yard targets and the shorter lock time may reduce my group size.

All you all enjoy testing all those pellet/twist rate combinations. I only have 12 years left on my ICD battery so I don't have the time. It will probably take me 13 years to shoot 1 perfect card at just 60 yards anyway.
