New grips on my Daisy 747

I bought my 747 in January of 2003. Nice gun, very accurate, very happy with it, but I've always considered it about as pretty as a post hole digger. After years of wanting wooden grips for it, I finally ran across a nice pair on ebay. Very happy with my new grips, too! The surprising thing for me was how much better the entire gun looks... I was figuring I'd have an ugly gun with nice, better feeling grips, but the whole thing just looks nicer! I'm guessing on account of proportions...

Random luck. :) I'd wanted some nice grips for years, but the guys who sold them online were either out of business or too ex$pensive. I kept a search for some on ebay, and after years of no luck, 3 pairs of wood grips turned up all at once, from two different dealers. Two were more like the originals, and I threw my bid at these. No regrets. These things fit perfectly, very well made. The dealer didn't know the origin, and there are no markings.
