I have like many of you flip-flopped back and fourth trying to make the best purchase with my money to find the airgun that suits my needs as well as my likes. I have tried to just sit back and read all the great post and responses to try to help in that decision, as there is a great wealth of information that is provided by individuals here.( I have pretty much read through most of every post and replies to it.)
So thanks to all in this community I finally made my choice and it came today in the mail. Here are my impressions so far.
Here it is the Fx Bobcat mk2 .30

I purchased this at Precision Airguns and it was shipped on 8/26 and arrived today. After opening the box I set up rifle with the Hawke endurance 30 sf 4-16 that I took off my .25 marauder( marauder may be posted in classifieds in near future) I also charged the gun to 250 bar from starting at 180 bar with my hill pump. This was not as bad as I thought, although I rested the pump in cycles so as not to get it too heated up. If you intend on a lot of shooting in one day a tank or compressor would be a must or you will spend a lot of time pumping instead of shooting. I normally just pest shoot and not target shoot so the shot count is plenty for my needs, and is worth the power gain to me.
I then shot this over my chrono in basement as I established a rough sight in since distance is only 12 yards. I shot one full mag of nine pellets first 3 shots used to get scope close so I know I can put it on paper at 50 yards. Chrono data had first shot low at 865fps and the rest averaged 877fps I don't know if that was due to being new .
Here is the last 6 shots of that string on paper at distance 12 yards in basement.

Here it is again with the 44.75 grain JSB in the hole.

I can't wait till I get this sighted in fully and take her out for a Groundhog hunt. I am not that good at the video thing but I will try and get some clips with my scope cam.
Future plans are to upgrade the scope to sidewinder, mount the atlas rail for bipod and add a moderator or baffle extentions.
I would have to say so far I am very pleased with the purchase and glad I made the jump to the .30 I will try to post updates as I get to know this gun better.
P.S. I have to say thanks to the company I work for and our CEO. It was due to profit sharing bonus that we receive as employees that made this purchase possible.
