I'm thinking of getting a new Benjamin trail np2 . what do you guys think of them ..please let me know I don't want to waste my money.all comments are welcome.

If you have a Cabela's/Bass Pro/etc near by, go handle one before you buy. Many have said that they don't love the grip (I personally find it to be a bit small-ish, tho I have only handled it, never shot it) If they have them in stock, also try the Phoenix, Iron Eagle, or Golden Eagle. All have the NP2 power plant, but different stocks (Phoenix may have the same stock as the Trail, just a dovetail instead of the weaver rail). The Eagles have a more traditional "Monte Carlo(?)" style stock that you may like more than the Trail's "thumb hole." Whatever you decide, best of luck!

They are an ok rifle and will be useful for eliminating varmints from your garden. My friend just bought one and it has a LOUSY trigger despite the fact that Tom Gaylord said the NP2 is a huge improvement over the original NP. Accuracy? Maybe.
