New guy question

I hope your gamo works out for you. A friend of mine uses his for hunting and he figured out how to hold it. I never had the patience for a break barrel and he gets head shots at 20 yards on squirrels. The notos looks like a good purchase and I once got to shoot one at the range. It was super light and held good groups at 20 yards. I plan to get one and mod it to pistol only.

This looks like a sweet gun. By the time I get the gun, pump, and optics, I think I’m going to be outside of my budget. Probably looking for a piston gun to keep things simple if possible. I will also have to use a scope as those dang house sparrows are tiny little dudes! Thank you for the reply

Firewalker is on the money with the Notos recommendation. I've only had mine for a week or so...but so far very impressive (and I have FX also) for the price point. There's an supplier that has a Notos on sale for $206.99!! WOW...I paid $260 for mine. I've shot several 1/4" groups at 25 yds. To my way of thinking, the Notos is about perfect. Start with a handpump if cost is a consideration. As for a springer (if that is your cup of tea), look at a Beeman r7. Comes wirh a match trigger for around $400. I've had one for years and it is very accurate on small critters to 25 yds or so. Takes some time to learn to shoot it accurately...but that's no different than most springers. Best of luck on your decision. 20PPC
