New to agn and want to interact and earn classified privileges. Been shooting airguns since the 80s but just got the pcp bug and would like to trade and get my hands on as many as possible

Agreed, the accuracy and ease of use of the PCP is addicting. AGN is a great place for help, can avoid headaches and make the best use of limited hobby budget dollars. Welcome aboard, WM

Welcome to AGN! You picked a great time to get into the sport. Compressors are sky rocketing in features and nose diving in prices. Look into a high quality gravity air filter. Keeping the air dry going into the tank or rifle is key.

I’m new to air guns too. Coming from 1000 yard Benchrest shooting. I’m looking to get into pcp benchrest and am looking for a competitive rifle under $1k to get started….

Save yourself the money and spend whatever is necessary to do what you want to do the first time around IF you can afford to do so. $1000 does not get you very much once you factor in a compressor. The precision someone like you may be looking for may not be up to your standards in more moderately priced guns unless you plan on tinkering (which can cost even more money)

I have a compressor,front rest,scope. I have an original gauntlet I have been shooting to get the ang of it. I can go higher for rifle,but I really want to see if it’s my cup of tea first. Also I live in upstate ny and was looking for ranges that shoot benchrest,any help?

A second hand FX Dreamline will do well. Even a brand new one is pretty close to your max budget. I had one in .25 and loved it. FX has some great customer service and aftermarket support as well as an added bonus

Lots of different dream lines available,I like the classic version,is .177 the preferred caliber for benchrest
