New GX filter is coming out!

Just found out this new filter is coming soon to the US market.

40mpa/5800psi
Water drain
Two pressure relief valves, one from filter to tank, the other from filter to compressor
Strong magnets on the side to make it super easy to attach to your compressor.
Very well built and was heavily tested by GX before US release.

I'll know more once I can get my hands on one!

Are they filled with some sort of media or is it just a gravity type? With the valves does that mean the filter itself will be able to remain pressurized between fills ??

It will have media in it, and from what I understand, the filter can remain pressurized, or you can bleed out water over long fills without loosing air in the tank line. Once I get one in a few weeks and check it out, I'll be able to better answer those questions, which is something I want to know more about myself.

I have seen the video on how it comes apart too and it is definitely unique.

The filter will have a spare cartridge as well that you can refill.

As a user of compressors in my trade almost every day, it’s the best policy to bleed the air and moisture from the separator. Leaving it causes corrosion eventually.

hopefully there is a shut off so you do not have to loose the pressure in the filter every time you start up.

Check valve fittings in the right places is what I do.
