how did these not hit my radar? why did nobody tell me!?!?!?!?! who else has these on pre-order? also do we know when they're actually coming out?
im honestly pretty excited. the hades are great, but...being 16 gr if you push them at 900 fps you're under 30 foot-pounds. maybe that's enough, I like a bit more power so having the added weight means a lot to me. and maybe they'll do better in wind, the BC should be higher than the originals so that's pretty cool too. It's still a pellet. Nothing ground breaking here.
On the other hand, this is what I think:
I can't contain the excitement! Just kidding
Added weight:

10 cents apiece for a .22 cal pellet! That’s ridiculous!
Keep on with the search, it's bound to be found eventually!I'll buy it!
Like so many other fools — I'm always looking for the magic wand that somehow will transform my mediocre shooting into spectacular precision.
Maybe this time.....

I 100% agree, im not expecting the same performance as the normal 25gr, just better than the original hades. At 70ish + yards the lighter Hades act like a parachute pops out the back, compared to a simple domed pellet.
These new ones might put the wallop on a critter in the moderate and closer yardages, but don't expect them to retain their energy as well as the dome of the same weight if the distance is very far.
I already ordered mine!I'll buy it!

yeah I have also switched to the FX variant, they seem more consistent for me at least. im going to be setting up my gun for slugs here in the near future but I find myself in the situation where slugs just aren't appropriate, but I totally understand where you're coming from.TBH, the OG 15.89s work so well for me on small game out to 40yds, I really have no need to change. My pellet search has been over for years now (was it 2019 they came out? I can't remember...). When I get the itch to anchor some critters beyond 50yds, I switch over to a different setup for slugs.
I'm sure some people will find them useful, they just don't have a place in my kit.
But to be fair, I did switch over to the FX branded Hades just because they are cheaper, cleaner, and less damage to the skirts in the tin.
