New homemade Benchrest Rifle Rack

My hold wasn't rock steady this morning, that's for sure.
Hello again @rsfrid

I know this might sound a bit ..... well .... maybe strange, but, my solid heavy wood Benchrest is sitting on carpet with padding underneath. And I have the Naugahyde material on top of my Bench which has a thin layer of padding also. The bottom line is that my "set up" is not like the concrete shooting benches sitting on a concrete based out at the gun range. I do have some very small amounts of "free movement" that I cannot control 100%. However I love what I have being inside on this cold windy rainy day 😁:LOL::ROFLMAO:

Nice!! i think i can make something like that. Maybe a lil adjustment for the back...like a car jack(similar to that design...not an actual car jack) to raise and lower. Thought i had one of those cauldwells in the garage...the hunt begins.
Thanks Mike
Hello @manabeknives

Mike both of my Rear Forks have about 1-inch of adjustment with the threads on the bottom. And remember the Front Rack has almost 2-inches of adjustment.

Why not ? The pros already use car jacks!

And you may already have one of those bipods in the trunk of your car !🙃

Dusty Power's modified unit looks pretty similar to mine!
