new huma mod40x

i received my new revised MOD40X today for a future riffle i plan to buy. tested it on my 2004 .177 Logun Domin8or(fx cutlas) at around 20 ft/lbs in a small room with closed windows.

Yes, the new Huma models(Avalanche) are much louder(and higher pitched), to my ear, on every gun I've tried them on.

I just shoot my huma's empty so there is more volume for the air to go.

It seemed that way to me also. Then I let a buddy shoot the gun as I stood off in the distance. He would switch between the original 40 and the Avalanche on several of my guns. It was interesting how it sounded no different on one gun and distinctly different on another gun.
