Probably less power, but could be a game changer for a youth rifle.

Like all WIERDRAUCHS. . They make the finger to trigger far to long for any shooter to properly shoot. Let alone a child. It will be a flop. Todays kids don’t shoot. A few adults will buy it for old time sakes and a few will try to impose them on grand kids.
Reminds me of the Hw25 they discontinued years ago.

WOW an HW30 just like DADs , might not be the best fit for a kid , but the DADs will buy it .
I have a Diana 23 ( kid's ?) My trigger finger fits to the front of the trigger guard .
Maybe FX should come out with a gun that can be built / adjusted to size ? Grow with the child ?
"Hey Dad i want my own FX it's only $1800.00 "

It's a scaled down version of the HW30, so it should be a good fit for kids.

My remark was due to AGR remark about distance to trigger . As for my Diana 23 it is smaller and just a blast to shoot , my smallish 6 yr Granddaughter has a bit of trouble cocking it but she manages .

I agree with the distance to the trigger, it should be closer on all the HW's.

I think it's a nice looking gun and concept. The only hitch I see might be the trigger reach. With out it in hand it's hard to tell if the stock design accommodates smaller hands. Like it should. Weihrauch has been known to make bad decisions in stock design. Look at all the more recent stocks that greatly impede the use of the factory irons. Only time will tell.
