It's very early, I think the front sight is original, I guess "V" means rifled barrel, and Mike will tell us more.

Make what ever comments you like, just stay off my grass. The pessimism here is palatable.... I think that maybe we're those "grumpy old men" that we couldn't stand when we were younger....![]()
I don't have big hands and I have never noticed any reach problem with the Weihrauch trigger? The long lop on the weihrauchs might be “a feature, not a bug. “
Had a fwb with a very adjustable trigger position. I set it very far out (just to experiment), kinda like a HW where the end of the index finger sorta rests on the side of the blade prior to any pull. Well, that actually felt the best.
Can’t explain why. Would have to experiment again to gather my thoughts.
Long fingers..lol.?I don't have big hands and I have never noticed any reach problem with the Weihrauch trigger?
NO! I have xx big long ape handsI agree with the distance to the trigger, it should be closer on all the HW's.
Don't hold back. I want opinions. I don't come here to have my ego stroked. Either way. Speak upThe pessimism here is palatable.... I think that maybe we're those "grumpy old men" that we couldn't stand when we were younger....![]()
Me too. The Slavia 618 was my first real gun (still have and shoot it) back in the 60's. This HW30 reminds me of it.That’s about the size of the Slavia I had when I was a kid. I’m 69 now. That little rifle was very accurate but a little anemic. I think this HW 30 Jr Could be a game changer
Who has a pre order? Oh yea my first thought was to be little again. Just think of the lucky little buggers that will come into this.Just up on insta thread.

Probably less power, but could be a game changer for a youth rifle.
Never noticed or thought about this until reading about it here. I have no reach problems with any of my HW’s. And neither did my kids when they would shoot them. Must have some very short fingered folks on here.I don't have big hands and I have never noticed any reach problem with the Weihrauch trigger?
