New Impluse Air IA-1200 .25cal version pics and a few thoughts.

Ordered this just last week, mainly because I wanted one in blue. I was originally going to order the ODB 160, but since you can add to this one, I thought I would give it a try.
My first thought is that it is very small like a DonnyFL Tanto. I compared it with a Donny Sumo, FX Donny and a Huggett Astille, all in .25cal configuration.
So far I tested it on my Maverick Sniper 22cal shooting 18grain JSB's 900fps. I though that the Impulse Air did about the same as the Donny FX at 18 yard range, but not as good as the Sumo or the AStille.
I'm going to order an extra baffle and see what that will do differently against my other silencers.

I'm going to shoot some tomorrow at 50 yards and try to see what the difference is outside. I had planned on buying the bigger version, but they only have it in black right now and I have plenty of those.

Not for nothing, but one of the FX hybrid boxes is slightly askew, seriously affecting the neatness of that stack…the horror!

Anyhow, staying on track with the original thread, I went outside today and compared it against my DonnyFL 22/25 version and it wasn't as effective in my opinion. This was shooting out of my 22cal FX Maverick Sniper shooting JSB 18.13's at 900fps. I didn't even bother comparing the Sumo as it didn't hold up against the DonnyFL. I am going to order 1 or 2 more baffles and try that. Granted the thing is so light and short in reality I shouldn't have expected it to out do the Sumo.
