New LDC for my FX Royale 400

1. I picked up this 400 used a while back. It's my first FX gun that I have owned out of over a hundred plus guns. I have rebuilt several models of F X guns for friends so I am pretty familiar with them but never owned one before. This gun is regged and had a 500 cc bottle on it but I replaced it with a 480 cc carbon fiber bottle as I wanted to lighten it up some. My only complaint was how loud it was so I tried to buy a Hugget shroud but could not find one. Since I have a lathe and aluminum tubes and delrin rods I decided to make my own. 
   Quieted it down to a snap now however did add about 4" to oal. Still not bad and much friendlier to shoot.
   Forgot to mention, this is one of if not the most accurate gun I've ever owned. At least out to 50 yards. Basically just one hole about a 1/4" to 3/8". Love it.

Looks great and the length looks fine to me. I'm surprised you thought it was on the loud side. The 400 I had was probably the quietest 22 I've ever owned. Great guns, I currently have it's bigger brother and his high tech uncle. I love the way they feel in the hand and are easy to work on and tinker with.

Well my buddy has one in grey laminate with a hugget shroud and it is stupid quiet. When we shot them side by side you could really tell the difference. Mines still not as quiet as the hugget but much much better than it was.
