New Lelya not firing

Good afternoon.

Need a bit of advice. I got a NIB Lelya 2.0 in .25. I put the HUMA regulator and Plenum in it. Put it back together. It shot a couple of rounds, then stopped. I spoke with Brian, he explained that it is not a gentle gun. I have to pull all the way back on the side lever and push forward again. I did that, and sure enough that fixed it or so i thought. Today i came back home. Shot three rounds and then nothing. Wont fire or release air. EDMU gauge reads 208 BAR left. Could the trigger have been half off when i put it back together and slipped off or the hammer when i put the air tube back on? What could i have messed up in the gun?

THanks for the help folks

Gabe

Quick question... NIB LELYA 2.0 in 25... Why would you replace the factory reg in a brand new gun without even knowing how well (or badly) the NIB gun performed??? YO

I got it figured out.

Thank you everyone for your help.

Have a good day.

Are you able to share what was wrong and how you figured it out? Maybe it might help others diagnose problems. Did you properly tighten the air cylinder to the frame? Was the safety on?

EDIT: Just saw your response now before I submitted my reply. Thank you for what you do and be safe. 👍

I think it’s likely what caused the initial issue. Then as UziDzit mentioned I need to look Screw. The trigger was definitely not sitting properly and fell. Lesson learned messing with a new gun. I’m obviously not a gunsmith by a long shot.

thank you for the kind words. Certainly has been nearly no sleep for two months. Not getting much better. Hopefully this release of quarantine won’t bite my patients in the blank. Majority of my patients are older.

You are doing a marvelous heroic job of helping these patients and need to be commended! My wife is an RN and also takes care of covid patients..it is a mentally and physically draining effort but these patients have no one else...hang in there and a I hope you get some much needed rest soon!
