Is the newer m4 mags better than m3 older mag? They are both same price $69 new. But no one is selling used m4 mags yet. Is it worth getting the m4 mags or stick to older m3 mags?
Thanks man for close up pictures. Which one do you prefer or cycle better? Fx claimed the newer m4 will cycle smoother and no jams due the having bearings. If they have sale for the m4 mag I'll grab some.I have an M4 and have the M4 mag in .25 and the M3 mag in .30. Here's a few pictures of each so you can see the difference.

The M3 mag has more plastic than the new M4 mag. Here's a close-up of the M3 mag and clear cover.

When either is in the Impact, there is no discernible difference as to how they function! If you were blindfolded, you probably would not be able to tell one from the other when cycling the rifle. Having said that, Trendier Airguns has the M3 Mags on sale for $10 off, so they are $59.99 each instead of $69.99. I just ordered one from Trenier today, it should be here on Saturday!
