What is the max bar on the m4 here is what the manual States 5.2 Pressurize
Max overall pressure in system
Singel regulator setup = 250 BAR (more info found in section 8).
Dual regulator setup = 300 BAR (more info found in section 8).

Remove dust-cap (34) Close ventilation screw on the charging source.

So do you need to get a first reg to use a 300 bar bottle?

You don't have to get 1st reg to use 300 bar. Lots of guns with 1 reg and fill to 300 bar. On the impact it's better to use dual reg to lower the pressure. All impact is stated max fill is 250 bar, so safety reasons.

That was for when the regulators had the plastic piston, now that it is a brass piston it can withstand 300b

The one REG in my Two handle 300 BAR just fine, mind you it is also +2 X larger than a FX regulator is.
Well the old FX also handle 300 BAR just fine, i have used that for all the time i had my Maverick, and it is only lately the #2 REG i have changed to one of the new models.

If I attach a 300-bar tank, the worst-case scenario is that the regulator will blow out, and I'll need to rebuild it. Can it potentially cause more significant issues?

What the hell are you I'm implying here . I almost put a disclaimer about " worst case scenario" but in reality something would most likely would fail before catastrophic incident would happened.

I don't think 300 the regulator at 300 bar is safe in my opinion

I see lots of newer model fx guns with 300 bar airmarksman bottles on them. Should be fine.

It's disappointing to see that they're not supporting 300 bar for the normal single regulator M4s. It's one less reason to upgrade.

I don't understand FX and their love affair with 250 bar. It's like the manufacturers are trying to reach a 15-shot minimum on the panther and the DRS at a high pressure, and then they throw in a 250 bar maximum. If they would just use 300 bar, those numbers are attainable.

Someone please explain the “upside” of going from 250 to 300 bar with an M3 or M4. A few more shots?
