FX New Maverick tuning thread

I have a Compact Maverick .22, shooting 16 grain pellets. On previous tunes, ie rear reg at 75-76 bar, PW at 7 and ihs at 3 turns counter clockwise from full stop, I have been shooting in the mid 880’s fps and getting about 120 shots til I’m off the reg.
My tunes are starting-
At 60 bar and going up from there with getting fastest speed at each rear reg upward adjustment.
PW 7
Shooting for mid 880s with good( less the 6 fps std dev)

Now I’m getting about 90 shots. I have previous to this, replaced the rear reg., new breach oring. So I’ve lost quite a bit of efficiency.

Any ideas on why this would happen?

Thanks for the reply! That’s what I thought at first but this was a new reg, well lubricated and installed carefully.
I forgot one important detail- I had put a 11 gram hammer weight installed ( over the old 7 gram). I know this will probably keep the valve open a bit longer( with the same spring). But, didn’t think it could not be overcome by ihs and power wheel.
Maybe I’m wrong!!
Gonna try the old hammer first (or maybe get a stronger spring??
Thoughts?

You just named your problem.
You installed a hammer weight that is 36+% heavier.
In a 22 compact the stock hammer will do anything you need to do with 16 & 18 gr pellets. I had to put a 25 cal weight in to shoot the 25.39 though.
Also, with those lighter pellets I would stay with the pellet port and not use the slug port on the air inlet.
