Hm, that is a good observation. It looks like you could use the factory one, but it might be a bit awkward. I can see how an extended bolt would likely be a better choice.

I also updated the link for the other one since it didn't want to load. Not sure why?

I will probably go the lpa route just for the hassle free install. Had a question do all the lpa sights work or just the lpa mim? To answer the polishing question. I put the Barrel and power tube in a drill and wet sanded them with 1500 all the way up to 3000 automotive sand paper. Then clear coated them with oil based clear then I used a resin based polish on the clear after it cured.
