New member from N. Nevada, hello

Hello, I am gun papa. I live in rural N. Nevada. I am mainly a firearms guy, but like many of you, I am sure, cut my teeth on airguns from a very young age.

I have a wall in my garage devoted to mainly to airguns of the vintage era of my youth. I am amazed at the look and quality of modern airguns today. I appreciate being a member.

This is me 33 years ago with a Crosman Air17.

Hi Dave, I am a little late to the party, i just ran across this post.

Your photo 30 yrs ago brings back a lot of memories. We had a large creek complete with crawdads and steelhead trout. i spent countless hours exploring and sniping anything that moved and some that didn't, with my trusty Crossman 766 haha bb's or pellets baby! hate to admit that was more than 40 years ago. One of my air guns now can take a 3000lb cape buffalo lol, things have changed

If your still around, lets go shoot I live in very north reno too

NVleadslinger, the picture is of gun papa, don’t worry I do that mix up on the forum with posts all the time. That you had a creek nearby while growing up must have been awesome. We had to bike down to the river a couple miles. Gun papa as soon as possible get yourself a modern PCP, it’s crazy expensive but the rewards are truly mind boggling! This group is five five shots at 130 yards, and would have been awesome if I didnt blow the two. And lots of the guys here are going way further, and even shooting groups on paper at 100+ yards. Be sure to look at the bench rest section and the 101+ yards section it’s really amazing.
