N/A New member here in the rabbit hole!! HELP 🙏🙏

Just found this wonderful world of PCP rifles. I'm wanting to purchase a nice all around unit with minimal issues. I'm leaning towards a .25 or .30 cal PCP that is modular or foldable stock so I can backpack it. I'd like something good for about 50-100 yards that I can hunt and target practice with. Maybe something around a 400cc tank. Let me know if there's anything like this please. I noticed most guys end up with ten or more guns before they find out what they like. I'm hoping I can avoid that 😂

I am not sure about the .25 Akela.
It is a refurbished airgun, I assume no warranty,
It costs $355 + $24 shipping = $380 + tax
It only comes with one magazine.

I have a .177 Akela and had to pay $25+ for magazines.
I still like it, but only spent around $180 shipped.

If you want to spend $400+ buy a Umarex Zelos (22 or 25).
Brand new, costs around $420-$430 shipped, comes with 2 magazines.

Wasn't suggesting to buy one, was using it as the low price point to determine the budget.

With no budget the options are too many.

For 100 yards they are probably looking at $1500 and up. Especially with 400cc of air.

And in a backpack friendly form.
Something Zelos is not.

Niksan Elf is only $305 but I doubt it is 100 yard gun and the air tube is only like 300cc.
Once they know the price of an accurate 100 yard airgun they will be happy to pay 3-4-5 times less for an accurate 50-60 yards airgun.

Nahh, the G2 SL .30 can get it done past 100yds and that's a sub $500 airgun although it is long after.

@bred904 do you advertise any preference in style for airgun? Bullpup, long rifle, carbine?

Nvm that, I just reread your post.

Vulcan 3 .500mm is 31" OAL wo mod and under 8lbs naked. Comes in .177, .22, .25, .30

And $1,595.
I have a G30, a Bobcat, a Sniper X2
All capable of 100 yards.
None will fit in a backpack.
Which is why I didn't recommend them. Bobcat almost fits, but it is out of production. Replaced by the Wildcat, which would fit and is $1400.

What's a Sniper X2?
My Vulcan3 .500 will fit in a saber tactical 34in bag. I actually have 2 in my bag!

The Wildcat is a great option.

The only gun that comes close to what you want might be a Hubin K1 bullpup not a folder , comes in .25 and .30 ,recommend .25 or even .22 . , the reason i say .22 because you can get heavy .22 pellets and take Yotes and you can get .22 much less $$ for targets . your going to be one gun ,so shooting a lot of pellets .

K1 does not come in .30. It comes in .177, .22 , and .25. But I agree with the rest of your comment. My K1 .22 shot .223 38.5gr slugs and 28.5gr slugs phenominally and it could push both the 28.5 to 970 and the 38.5 to 950
