New Member Intro

Hi folks, Kevin from NJ here.

I joined to get some info on hi power airguns for yotes. They have been getting my sheep. I have a dreamline lite 25 cal that is murder on ground hogs, but I am reluctant to use it on coyotes. I don't think it has enough downrange energy. I'm thinking about a 30 cal looking to reach out about 100-125 yards. What do you think?

Hi kevin. Welcome to the forum. Tons of good guys with tons of info and glad to help. Having problems posting link but a tread was just started. On your topic.

I would say there are a lot of options out there, just depends on features you want and how much your willing to spend. Guns like the seneca eagle claw in .25 caliber offers 70fpe, are in $700 range and is in a traditional rifle configuration. On the other hand you could go with fx maverick in .30 caliber offering over 100fpe, are in the $1500 range and are in a bullpup configuration. Both of these guns are capable of taking coyote out to 100 yards with pellets or slugs. Like I said it all depends on what features you are looking at.

Have fun with your new addiction.
