for me an airgun price ends by 1.5k euros and thats my zeus or less...
i need to feed my motorcycle passion, crossbow passion, car passion and machinery bug (bigger shredder or press) and there is no time to use all these pretty airguns...
i am done buying airguns, have 3 now- 1 springer from weihrauh and 2 pcps, thats enough
now comes the mr308 sniper and i am done for good- no more ebuying
really.. you must trust me!

That's the beauty of a chip run solenoid. It sets the valve up for you and you dictate regulator pressure and run. No springs or hammers or valve timing. But.... Like pellet bbqs/smokers, adding computers to things can complicate and make issues of their own.oh wow.. that is a must have

Hi everyone
zeus is here and swinging heavy 850gr slugs at 950fps ..
my stupid fx will not go over 870fps giving me 110 joules- here i get 2300 j..
by the way- those 2 little dents were made with full power .30 cal fx airgun, barely scratched the propane tank
was in poland and could open it to its full potential 1700 Fpe
not many parts to break, very simple design- like a russian tank, made for war..
the slug even tried to exit the other side of the tank but ran out of juice..
one word to describe it- Beast.
is it precise? very.
does it have recoil? not much for me to notice, my 10mm glock has far more recoil.
is it loud? not with the great kami can- all i hear is impact.

Propane cylinders are thick. Even full power rimfires sometimes don't like to go thru. I went and did some tuning Friday too. I had slugs going 1060 and the accuracy sucked. Turned down to 980 and it's remarkable. More tuning ahead. Plenty of times more spring was less. There's art and nuance to how these work as assemblies.

i will play with the valve opening timing and try to get it to open longer and dump even more air just for one shot but more then the 1500fpe- maybe 2000 or more..
but i need to learn from some other pcp guys how to do it..
would you know how?

The vast majority of our tuning day was on a 500mm 22 fx maverick. It got set up to shoot some light slugs, i was re tuning mine away from heavy pellets to just slugs since my dreamline has come out so good at 850 fps with pellets. I also tested that massive 3500 psi aircraft bottle I have and it let 2 people shoot tethered all day in a tuning scenario.i hear you

That maverick ran into several states of tune where more spring resulted in less velocity and accuracy, a little less or a little more and it was happier. It's sort of like tuning a freshly built guitar. Open string tuning may be correct but the overall intonation of the instrument is not correct. It was eye opening for him, mostly because he's aware of your journey as well. He got to see what I couldn't really explain effectively.

Hammer mass. Heavy objects don't like to speed up or slow down as easily. This may include more spring for accelerating that mass to achieve the strike force needed as well. Mass, velocity, and agreeability to having the passing air on the valve help close the valve for you is part of this balancing act.i hear you
