FX New member- please help with my new fx dreamline lite 30 cal- i have ton of questions but no answers..

no way my friend! it can not be stock, here is a picture of a stock dreamline bottle version and it has no such part between the bottle adapter and receiver valve housing... it is a power plenum alright! or i know where the problem lies.. these photos from the fx site are old and now the dreamline comes standard with that power plenum so you know what that means? i dont have to buy one from huma because its already mounted on the newer dreamlines from factory

and that would explain how or why are the dreamlines able to reach 95ftp where the impact is the king.. yeah, i get it now

I know the dreamline tactical ship with them. The data charts and pics are out of date depending on which place you look at. It's a bone stock gun because of how mad I am at myself for dumping the money into the impact for slugs that I did and realizing how good it was before, and I don't want to take the tungsten hammer out of it to convert it back. My marauder 25 was too weak but shot goof the way it was, the dreamline was priced really nice and so I got it......and won't touch it for mods.

i am sure my new fx has the power plenum already installed from factory because this plenum allows the dreamline to reach 85ftp which was unheard of before the power plenum came.. i will order this bottle 700cc and the adapter, good choice?

one more thing- your dreamline is compact version which could not have come with the power plenum.. the plenum wont fit it because the shrouded barrel is to thick.. even the fx site states that its not for dreamtac compact... so i see you have a different barrel but that's not the way the gun came from factory- someone changed it and only because of that was able to fit the power plenum on your compact- dont ask me who! you know it better then i do

Nope bone stock with the pencil thin shroud since I ordered it as the tactical carbon bottle version. Which also means you may need to do that. The threaded adapter to the action on mine is the smaller diameter left side of the one pictured, but the whole way thru. It was new in box from Utah airguns. The dreamline got really modular.

As for the 700 cc bottle, theyre a beast. It may negatively impact the quality of your experience with a front heavy gun. Maybe a buddy bottle and a regulator to tether with?

i will just bench shoot it or hunt from a tripod or some support so the front heavy weight will not affect me so much- i never shot free hand.. but it will give me a better shot cout- you kniw that after i crank mine up to 80.85ftp i get only 20 good shots with the 290cc cylinder 🥳

No worries! I was actually looking for an example of the large diameter shroud to measure and modify to fit the bottle. I have an inexplicable drive to make my airguns as close to silent as possible.

what do you mean? i need to get another shroud..my dreamline has the crappy, thin shroud..

If you get 20 shots at 80 ft lb I will be surprised and happy for you. Seeing as best I can tell the new tubes are all basically fit as bottles to regulators and they still have the side foster fill, tethering will be easy for bench shooting. There's likely much fine tuning to be done but my 700 impact realistically id a 28 round gun at 65 ft lbs in 22 on 580cc bottle. If i keep bringing up guns that aren't pertinent it's just because I lean on my experiences and try not to perpetuate forum fuddlore on things I haven't seen or done myself 😂

The thin shroud clears a bottle but moderates less noise/air volume. It's the road you'll be taking if you get a bigger bottle. Before I talk you out of a 700, are you walking and hunting or target shooting off a bench(animals are targets too).

exactly- i might get even less, maybe 10 shots with the 290cc cylinder.. thats why this ugly beast 700cc will come in play

600mm.. too long for my taste but it is what it is..
This is just my opinion, but i think it's the perfect length for allowing you to achieve close to what the gun is capable of for power, quieter, more efficient(iirc the math showed that to be the ideal barrel length for 22 and air which is why fx used it so long) . It will fit the 700cc and you will probably find the power you're looking for. When I get bored the impact is going down to 600mm and up to 25 cal.

On a side note fx has been known to put different hammers and springs in the bigger caliber guns, so if you ever caliber swap it you will have the power potential at your fingers already..... If i had to guess.

that sounds great!! i had no option besides .177 and the 30cal because this piss country does not allow anything here.. but glad i got the 30cal and not the .177

i have a weihrauh 85 springer tuned to maybe 21J instead of the stupid 7.5j limit- great gun.. also few glocks 35 competition and few more weapons.. i also got me a new crossbow last week. the excalibur rev x- it shoots lights out- love that little bugger.. check out this vid- its crappy quality but you see the power of a bow

check this guy out slinging .22 at 1084fps with DUAL power plenums in his dreamline 600mm barrel.. and he is a gun tech

I saw him too. The plenum is cheap enough it's worth a try and it's not too hard to do if the air adapter clears the barrel to unthread. There's volume and pressure to be used. For a little bit I was high pressure guy. It gets hot whet im at in California and you can extrude orings if shooting in direct sun all day, so now I'm mid pressure.

poop- i am getting dual power plenums! he just turned his .22 into a real slugger- it shoots them 23gr slugs at 1000fps- thats the sweet spot for slugs.. i am so getting a second power plenum :ROFLMAO:
930 has been my experience for the sweet speed in my gun. Dreamline shorty doesn't like slugs so much, my impact has been the test rig for that. 1040 for 23 grain javelins on the low tune. I only needed to keep them subsonic.

Id like to hear what you get out of it in stock form and just tuned.

1227fps with 14gr ,22s :ROFLMAO: unreal
