New member with question

I’m a new member here and new to PCP rifle. I purchased a new Daystate Revere 22. I really like it. It groups great but just about every time I shoot it my POI changes. For example I went hunting yesterday, zerod my rifle before I went it wasn’t too far off 2 clicks on the scope low and left. I went hunting got 1 squirrel then I missed a few easy shots. Had a target with me. Shot it at 30 Yards. 1 1/2” low and left. Checked my scope rings and changed the scope. Same POI changes. I don’t think my reg is leaking either. Any help would be appreciated.

I would also check your diopter adjustment. The eyepiece of the scope. I find it easiest to do at the bench with the rifle supported. If it is focused correctly you will not be able to move your head around and get different points of aim with the gun in the same position. If you can move your point of aim around by shifting your head position you need to adjust your eyepiece. You should also find that getting this right makes your reticle clearer but I find just getting the reticle in focus isn't good enough.

Definitely a headscratcher. I have one in .177 Sub-12 that keeps it’s POI perpetually.

Are you using an LDC? If so could it be clipping? Definitely check screws for tightness as mentioned above. Make sure the stock is tight onto the action, etc.

Another possibility is temperature. Some guns will give you a shift in POI as temps vary during the day.

I do have the 0db on it. Should I be able to see if it’s clipping? Thanks

Not to insult..
But pellets can be really weird in wind.

Any chance u could check it day after day indoor?

I used to think I had poi shifting kept zeroing my gun every morning thinking I had “no wind”
But there is no such thing as “no wind” there’s always something affecting the pellet.
Don’t think so but I’ll try anything at this point. I’m only shooting at 30 yards and there’s been no wind here. Thanks

Had a 3-9 Hawke vantage IR. Thought it may be scope issues. Now I have a Leupold VX Freedom rim fire 3-9. Same results with both

the leupold seems to be a fixed parallax of 60yds,
and if the hawke wasnt adjustable for parallax id say your problem is you need a scope with adjustable parallax,
(either side focus or adjustable objective)
which is pretty much a given necessity for airguns.

that would explain your wandering point of impact.

easy way to check is rest the gun steady and look at a target at 30yds,
move your head around slightly while still in the eye box of the scope,
you will probably notice your reticle move around on target.
