New, New, New, New!!!! - JSB

I think you're right.....doesn't make sense as the .177 are the same price as the 16-18gr....just a marketing ploy with "Monster Light" name...usually JSB is fantastic with their price to ammo ratio in my opinion for what one gets.
I'm think the prices of the new ammo being higher is just to offset the possible cost of production for all of these new pellets. Which, I wouldn't mind, if most consumers didn't just try these and still not be that impressed. I've never been a crazy fan of JSB, not because of bad quality, but because I originally tried the Air Arms pellets, and they have ALWAYS been excellent to shoot in every caliber and wieght that I have tried. They are just a bit too expensive, so I settled with the FX, but I have seen plenty of JSB ammo just having mangled skirts. Currently my favorite due to quality and price is AEA, followed by the FX pellets.

True....I also shoot FX 18gr made by JSB and the AA are like you said, expensive!

I recognize it's not for everybody but casting is kind of a critical part of the sport for me. I know there are plenty of folks for whom it is absolutely worth the price for the convenience and consistency, but the way (plinking, off hand) I shoot I would feel like a fool to be meeting my daily shooting needs at the rate of 20 ish dollars for 300 .25 cal projectiles. I guess it's not all that bad - about a buck per magazine with the GK1.

My question is, and I'm half kidding here - where are all the ultra cheap Chinese knock off pellets? Is there some law that prevents the mass importation of these from China?
Haha! JTS and AEA are literally China copies, if you look at them from .177-30! Different lead, yes! But like most things from China, they didn’t hit their head on a toilet seat one day and invent something new!😂 and I dont even want to know their margins$? But it would upset us for sure!

While I do agree, H&N copied as well with the 15gr and 18gr barracudas. However I'm not mad as usually copies are worse than originals but JTS are usually better. In my personal guns much better. And 18gr JTS vs JSB are cheaper. Pay less for a better product with much better tins? Win for me. Hopefully push JSB on the QC.
