Finally got the old girl up and running. This gun was purchased in 03. It has no safety, and a great trigger. I forgot how AA got it right the first time. Proof that I don’t have to spend $1,800 for a new gun. I dropped $440 on the scope and certainly got my money’s worth-it was on zero for windage without a single adjustment and sharp as a carpet tack, the elevation was zeroed for 25yds. There are definitely more Meopta scopes in my future. The trigger was light and crispy. I did have a problem with the magazine as the skirts were too wide and had to be poked into place. She liked everything I fed her today. I only shot one 50yd group because I ran out of time…I think I can do much better for that distance.

These guns are pure classics. I bought 2 of them around '03 from Straight Shooters, one .17 the other .22. With the .22 I shot a 5 shot group at 40 yards that measured .312 center to center. It is consistently accurate. This gun shoots the best with Beeman Kodiak. Back then you could special order other stocks for extra cost. I got one described as "Tiger Stripe". It's one of the prettiest stocks you ever saw. This AA410E also holds the record (for me) for the longest any PCP I've owned, to not leak at all. This is getting close to 20 years now. Glad to see someone else appreciating them.
