New pills for the GK1!

I know I've said in the past that these guns were designed for pellets but curiosity has gotten the best of me! Lol.
Big Island ammo sent me a sampler of his .253 slugs especially made for this platform to give a go. I'm gonna set up this weekend and do a 30 and 50 yard testing session to see which one my GK1 likes! Looking forward to anchoring a fat woodchuck with these awesome looking pills!

How have they held up?

Testing tomorrow!
To many things got in the way this weekend 😕
On vacation the next two weeks and the shooting party starts tomorrow! Lol
I'll definitely post some results in the next couple days 👍
Nicee! Hopefully it goes well for ya then! I too an going on vacation in a week! Hopefully the weather down here cooperates with me and allows me to work all of my iguana locations.

Sorry guys but I didn't think it was worth posting! The GK1 was not really designed for slugs and really shows with my V1.
Best groups at 30 yards were around an inch and might be ok for some but not for me! JSB heavy mk2s shoot into one hole!
Maybe if you cranked the power up and only get a few shots the results might be better but I'm looking for consistency and a full mag of shooting before a refill. Really for the power level and short barrel of this setup slugs are just novelty! And not to mention the diameter of them to fit the mag is to much pressure on the system! Most of these guys having problems are finding out the hard way.

How fast were you shooting them? I shot the 33.33gr Huben peanut slugs around 979fps (72.4ish fpe) from my gk1 and at 75rds they were more than accurate enough to take shots at yotes, or ground hogs.
