Hello, I am a new pistol shooter wanna be. I ahve been shooting field target and love it just wan to add pistol.



Where to start under $1000

That is simple ,get a Crosman 1720T ,which is made for what you want;plus it should be easily under $500,I used a Burris Pistol scope on mine,some people use a rifle scope and hold it in a funny way when competing in Field Target.

Watch the PyramydAir ad's for a refurbished AP16. New, they are $1050, but the refurbished ones are $900. If you like the Government .45 firearm, you'll like these. I've got both a new one and a refurbished one. Can't tell the difference between them. 

Accurate, fun to shoot, solid guns. And you don't need a high dollar pump to fill them. A hand pump works well.
