Well it appears that the Hatsan Hercules in .45 cal. would be the only reasonably priced rifle a Texas airgunner can use for whitetail deer this season. This gun is so heavy I would need a trailer to get it in the woods. Not sure I am that excited about killing a deer with an airgun. I guess I'll just use a powder burner.
I had an Air force gun once and I really didn't like the way it shot. Sam Yangs are borderline in getting to the fps and foot pounds. The new Crossman TC45 is a good light weight gun that will work. It generates 275ft lbs with a 166 gr. projectile, and is 45cal.
