New Rifle - Dimers @ 200?

200 cm...

Groups of 1...

Maybe?

I had been wanting one of these for a little while, so when PA's birthday sale hit last week, along with free shipping on these, I got one. With sales tax it set me back nearly $43, so I have HIGH expectations.

I even made a new dimer target, so I could more easily accomplish my goals with the RR.

Hello TMH

I have had one for many years and still shoot with it quite often. It most likely will not be your most accurate rifle but it will raise the fun meter pretty high. I keep it in a corner by my front door, and when the Deer come up to eat my flowers I give them he_ _ with it. They have learned the range and simple move just far enough away that I am no longer a threat :)

Be safe and have a great day,

ThomasT

I know exactly how you feel plingpling . The vast majority of my PB shooting any more is Cowboy Action Shooting.

The song which most often plays in my head, well, not great songs in the film, but a great watch:

Now, to keep this airgun related, we Cowboy Action Shooters are an aging lot. Some folks can't shoot our matches any more due to age related infirmaries. But I've now got about a dozen who easily and comfortably shoot air rifles!

I seen them shooters on the computer silver screen, i like to have me some of that,,,, for trials of course, a Danish pension can not carry the ammo costs for anything involving magical BOOM powder.

If someone could make a good shooting PCP that looked like just about any lever action, or a range of other classics, i would so buy one.

BUT ! i must insist on a reasonable level of accuracy like we are accustomed to these days.

Here is another set of 'cowboy' guns I have:

I'll admit that I haven't fired the CO2 Legends lever action rifle yet, but the CO2 pistols have been 'reasonably' accurate with BB's.

Andy from Andy's Airgun Reviews chose to shoot his review rifle with 7.33 gn pellets, and his 10 meter target is pictured below. Even without rifling in the barrels, maybe all of these guns are all more accurate shooting lead pellets. And no bounce-back either.

I once handled a genuine 18 hundred and something Winchester 44/40 rifle,,,, it was a glorious experience and i was sad i did not get to let a couple fly out of this classic.

It did bring out the little Texan i have living deep down inside of me,and a certain classic played inside my head as i felt up that thing.

Have an 1873 (Winchester brand, but certainly not an original, made within the last 5 years) in 357/38… and it is indeed a joy to shoot. Father in law has an original, still in good working order, in 44 WCF. If an air powered replica of good quality were to be made, I'd be at the front of the line!

Enjoy the new rifle in good health TMH!

Sweet rifles for sure! And you won the lottery on the wood in that stock too. They are definitely shooters and mine can easily hang with the RedWolf pack at 6 to 8 inches, so good that it makes it hard to decide what to shoot. I like the RedWolf, but the Red Ryder has the high capacity magazine, a custom stock and it’s compact and short. Enjoy your new gem of a rifle, love the targets! Post up some pictures of groups, thanks for sharing. Oh yeah, what scope you gonna use?
