RTI New rifle

Hi just bought a new rifle .22 cal fitted a huma extended rail and 2 plenums can’t wait to shoot it Sunday. Does anyone have a good reg pressure for pellets and slugs?

What distance are you planning on shooting?
For slugs...i have a P3, i slugged the barrel at a .2161 ... don't know if all of the barrels have same spec..mine is the RTI propietary..not the LR
keep the slug size down to .2165 -.216 size....i tried .217 and .218 ..both were not that good
For pellets, i was liking the 18.13 grains more than the heavier MRDs ..accuracy was a lil better and much less air consumed.
The great thing about the P3 is the ease of changing FPS by just using the regulator adjustment
i had 18.13g shooting a low fps that had incredibly small E.S of 5 and a S.D. of 1.7! on a 20 shot string...reg pressure was about 86-88 bar
with the higher weights and fps...you'll see a S.D of around 5-6...still excellent..had reg at around 150
i kept my fps on the low ..better wind stability.
You have the 2x plenum which should help with the stability..i didn't have them available..let me know how you like them
the P3 has some fantastic features and is very accurate
Enjoy

Hi mate I’m planning on shooting around 40 to 50 metres because that’s all the range allows me to shoot. One thing I have noticed is how rigid the barrel is, there is no flex not like my fx impact m3. I’m definitely not a fan of the plastic dust cap I will end up changing that to an aftermarket dust cap soon. The overall appearance of the rifle is very nice it looks like it’s built like a tank seems like you could just throw it in the back of a Ute and it would still maintain POI. I love the simplicity of the rifle this is the way all rifles should be made in my opinion. I love the way you can degass the rifle just by turning a screw the external reg is a winner that’s for sure so easy to adjust. I have the .217 23 grain Zane slugs and the .217 fx 22 grain hybrids and the cometa 18.13 grain pellets which are the same as the Jsb except all the skirts are not bent. I will see if I can get my hands on the .216 Zane slugs. I’m taking it out on Sunday for its maiden shoot I’m hoping it likes the cometa 18.13 grains because I have a lot of tins, my fx impact m3 likes them anyway thanks for getting back to me have a great day.

The FX hybrids did not like going fast in my P3 ..keep them down below 930 fps.
the zane's did better..better to lube the slugs.
at 40-50 yards, pellets will be more accurate than the slugs
if you want to try the heavier pellets , just bump up the regulator to around 150-155 for 25.39g pellets going 950-965
you can also contact these guys, they can be very helpful.
