New Scope for FX M3

I bought two Bushnell Engage Scopes ( 4-12-40 REN41240DW ) two years ago for FX M3 and FX Dreamline. One Bushnell failed and I shipped back to Bushnell for warranty on 8-7-2024.. NO word yet on repair / replacement. Numerous phone calls but can't leave message.. email, NO reply.. Not Happy...
I bought another Bushnell Engage 4-16-44 ( REN41644DG) 2FP from a forum member and put it on M3... Works well for my application. Another new one is $249 ( Amazon) but I just cant support a company that doesn't stand behind / reply to emails or answer a phone call on a warranty...
I'm looking to buy another scope and want to possibly buy a FFP. Budget is ~$500..
Element looks pretty good but just would like to get best bang for my $$.. Element ( Helix) I believe, is made in China. Bushnell is made in China..
Just need a reliable scope with lifetime warranty. I'm not too hard on my equipment..
Thanks

Recently replaced long, heavy Hawke scope on M3 with Vector Veyron 6-24x44 SFP. VV is light, super subcompact with clear, sharp views and smooth functioning adjustments. M3 feels like a totally different gun, wish I'd done sooner. Krale (Netherlands) Optic Department has scope for $180. USD, $211. to-my-door. WM

Athlon Midas Tac 6-24

Comes in a few different reticle configurations. I got the APRS 2 as I don’t need a full Christmas tree for what I do. Can be found for well under $500

First Focal Plane
Parallax down to 5 yards
Very clear

At the time, I was thinking that it's only an airgun. I don't need a 3000.00 scope for it. If it fails so what. It was only 172.00.
I'll just buy another one. It's probably not gonna be as nice as some of my other scopes. Leupold, IOR Recon etc etc.
I spoke to a lady named Tan. And then it was " ok you talked me into it. I'll give it a try.
The scope is a Vector Orion Promax. 3-18x50. With a nice reticle and floating dot.
To say I was surprised is an understatement. The glass is spectacular. really really good. The reticle is sharp as a tack and very nice.
It is extremely clear and sharp with superb contrast and clarity through the entire magnification/Focal range.
I am a Optics snob. Everything from camera lenses to rifle scopes. I am horrible about picking optics apart.
I have a Discovery 5-25x50 here and it is a piece of crap. Blurs/clouds at higher magnification. Reticle is lopsided, off center.
Recently, I was able to get behind one of the brand new Arkens, It's the ep-5 7-35x56. It is a piece of garbage. The glass is horrible, the reticle will not focus in to a laser crispness. I'm so glad I didn't buy one of those because I did consider trying it.

I felt the need to amend this. I know. People who own the Arken, like the Arken. I'm typing this at risk of being hunted down by a large group of people with torches and pitchforks.

I just bought Vevron 6-24x50 Spf with cool mil grid recticle on alliexpress with shipping everything arounnd $177.00...That said it comes from the Vector Optics store..I might to wait up to month delivery from china..When Amazon had them in stock they were like $200.00. Im excited to get mine...I also bought a Monstrum Challenger 5-30x56 Mil tacticool scope for $160.00.. Im excited to be using scopes again..Ive been using a Sightmark Wraith HD for the last 4 years...I have a coldshot mil base that i can use on one of the optics...My long range in PA is usually under 220 yards..So hopefully one of these chinese day scopes has better resolution than my chinese digital scope...My Sightmark Wraith Digital scope has been more relible than any day optic ive owned...It is hard to use in the day time ,off hand ,ect

The digital Optic , Draws the screen at something like 50-60 hz. We call this, the refresh rate. Conversely , computer monitors are much faster, drawing a fairly high resolution image and it does it fast. The scope, on the other hand, does not. Glass is much faster than the Monitor.
Optical quality of glass vs Digital cannot be compared. For Instance. Cameras and Camera lenses.
Lets say the Scope has a 2 megapixel sensor. It has to project HD and/or 1080P across a very small " viewfinder." Because that is what it it when you look thru your night vision, or Thermal. Nothing in it is what the eye sees. Or in camera terms , not the final print.
The problem is slow, low megapixel night vision at a bargain price. These things are like 2 or 4 megapixels, or less, being projected into a very small space. This is called, resolution.
The Camera viewfinder , in contrast, is small..........even smaller than the viewfinder on a rifle scope .It is an OLED viewfinder.
It's resolution is , 9.4 million dots. It's projecting an image from the light of a high end camera lens onto a sensor that is 61 Megapixels..
At a 120Hz refresh rate.
The quality of the glass matters.
The scope , well, It's still only 2 MP on a small slow, UNSTACKED, sensor.
With camera's you can account for an Un-Stacked sensor with a mechanical shutter. I know, for most of you this makes no sense. Bare with me.
In short , the glass on a traditional optical scope will bring the light to your eye much much better, much faster.
The image quality will be superb with glass, at one distance. That is why depth of field matters.
That is why shooters who want something on the order of a 200mm objective end, you know, to gather more light, may be missing something.

Not sure where the Elements are made, but mine have held up well and have clear glass, will definitely buy more.

I would take a look at Arken and Athlon scopes. Both have probably the best warranty service in the industry. There are other brands that do too like Vortex and Leupold, but they dont offer as many scopes with a short distance parallax. If weight is a concern the Arken EPL4 is great, and the Athlon Helos BTR Gen 2 is getting a lot of positive attention right now here on the forum.

You need to look at the Sightron Stac 4-20×50 is a lot of scope for the money. Floating dot with 2moa hash marks but not cluttered. I know have 4 of them. Through their Veterans program 329.00 to my door in 3 days. Yes, I have NF Comps, Sightron SVEDs, so I know what good glass looks like. I shoot with guys with Athlon and Arken, I have looked through them, dark and cluttered was my opinion.

I see there's two of the Stac 3-20X50's one is a MOA I assume SFP, and there's a MIL FFP, which one do you use, the MOA?
