I've got a small compressor to fill my guns. Looking for something to take to range. Realize I would have to have this filled at a dive shop. Would this be a decent tank for my needs? Thanks!
So basically the new one on ebay has not had a hydro test?If you are looking to have any cylinder filled at any commercial place you will need to have a DOT certified tank that has a current and valid hydro test on it. You will need something like this.
You can also look up used SCBA tanks on ebay and look for ones that are still within the 15 year service life with current hydro or have it tested if still within that "15 year life". Then there is also 30 year life scba tanks such as

If the tank is new then it has been tested when manufactured. What I ment to say is the one from amazon has not been hydro tested?
Ive been watching market place on fb for scuba tanks. Most are out of date, found a couple that are good for 2 more years. I might pick on of them up.I was lucky and patient browsing for a while and was able to find this last month
It is a 30 year tank made in 2019 and had the last hydro this year. So with that tank I'm good for another 4 years on its current hydro, best part it was only $362.95 shipped to my door.
