New self indexing daystate magazine

Hi, I did it on mine , it wasn’t easy I put the magazine on a vise very carefully then I used a vise grips or some pliers to pull the pin out, now this the hardest part ( at least for me) to push the magnet out flip the magazine so you can see the hole where the magnet is located then you need a blunt object ( very thin screwdriver) to fit in the little hole once is located get a hammer and hit it not to hard until comes out , once everything is out put the magnet on the other hole and squeeze it with the vise very gentle be sure it’s flat or it won’t fit on the rifle, do the same thing with the pin good luck. I did it for my Daystate red wolf so now I’m feeding the magazine on mi right side. Be safe.

I like the old ones better. The new ones look and feel real cheap in comparison. Also the ability to double load is worrying and bothersome.

Guess it's a matter of perspective, as I don't find the new ones cheap in feel or appearance. Now CARM, yes, that to me is cheap looking, but they work great. I like both better than the old style Daystate magazine. Yes, they can be double loaded, but I guess the kind of shooting you do may determine whether that is an important feature or not. It is of little matter to me.

Thanks alejo.

Please can you take a look at the picture of my magazine and point out where i need to punch out the magnet as i am not seeing anywhere to do it , no small hole or anything

I like the extra shots of the new one. But what I like to store my rifle on with a full magazine with a empty chamber. Then if I see a pest out my kitchen window I can grab and go. This was easy with the old magazine. But with the new one all I can figure is to load with a full magazine then shoot to leave it on an empty. I hate wasting a pellet when putting up my rifle. I also didn't realize until I got my Wolverine home my Huntsman mag won't interchange.

Just don't put the magazine into the gun until ready to take a shot or load the last loaded chamber (first to be shot) with a felt cleaning pellet.
