Hehe yeah if not in use the little stove will be a fine seat too, though probably not as good as the bar stools intended for the shooters.
There should also be 4 feet or so of clear space behind the shooters, so plenty of room for a range maid to prance around keeping shooters happy.

No not anymore, in my childhood in the 70ties yes.
Maybe you are referring to the few roof rafters, they ( doubled up with TEMP rafters ) did carry my 120 kilos when i painted the roof, but i might insert a few more which are still doable.
And i think there will be a surplus of those too.
This past winter was actually snowy, we got maybe a foot of snow and it did not melt in 24 hours, so while we Danes are Canada north on the globe, well we do not get Canada winters, mainly due to ocean currents pumping " hot " water up here, but if those currents stop, well as the rest of the world enjoy global warming we up here might see a ice age.
But like i said, i am a carpretender here, so this not exactly 100 % strait - level - plumb, but i am pretty sure the first winter storm will not send it into the street or fields, and we will be able to warm it up in winter which here these days are VERY bad if it get down to -10 deg C
You might have eyeballed the flimsy 90 deg angl fittings on some of the timber, we have also rammed in quite a few 4 - 5 - 6 " screws in those places.

i was Just curious since we had over 100cm with wet snow in southern parts of norway this winter and that not so far away from Danmark

Another big + for me with the new shed, as my friends field are sort of banana shaped with the lowest point in the middle.
With the new shed location i will not be shooting up hill anymore, we tested yesterday and shooting level the rifle are pretty much level with the floor of the container / driver tower.
So if anything shooting really short distances i will have to shoot a little downhill, but modest ranges are not really my ballgame.
Also a idea we came up with yesterday, maybe do a target zip line from the new shed to the container, with the load bearing line up high, it should not be a issue when my friend mow the field now and then.
BUT ! This necessitate the purchase of a rather long steel wire, not sure i can / want to do that right now, the shed already at the price of a air rifle, not high end one or low ball gun, but i could have gotten something nice for sure with those money.
BUT !! it cant all be hardware, some times, especially when you get older, you also have to think in comfort.

Well the Norway west coast also get a little of the Gulf current, but the much larger country do mean you get snow.
Your mountains probably also act like a brake for weather patterns so they are stopped and need to dop content right there.
Denmark the total snowfall in my area ( Randers middle / eastern Jutland ) in the past 10 years, less than 1 M for sure, last winter ( 2022 / 23 ) we got like 5 - 10 CM and it melted in a day.
Of course we are aware of this potential issue, but if it get so bad i can not get out there to clear snow off roof, my friend can do it, even if it mean 2 days in pain for him with his bad shoulders.
Had i been Norwegian, i would have build much stronger for sure, and probably also gotten lumber at a cheaper price, maybe even for free if i had some of my own and was young and fit to cut it down and do what need to be done.

Okay so i ditched the idea of a sand / stone floor, i am now building for a wooden floor in the hope to be ready for a July 4 shoot a palooza if the weather gods permit, though if things are well, well as we would want a fire, well the fire pit or as it is now overgrown fire jungle, well it is right in front of the old shed.
I hope in the next session from Tuesday on, i will get the floor framing done and get it supported below so 1 current fat ass and a former fat ass do not fall thru the floor.
Also get the final wall buttoned up, already have the window ready for that wall, it will only be 1/2 the size of the window already installed, we opted to put in a smaller window there as the sun will come thru it in the afternoon, but i will probably make a shudder for it of some sorts.
Snagged a short video yesterday.

Okay.
So the carpretender have been at work again.
This time finishing the floor frame, and then putting a flor on top of that, and great joy was taken as everything feel nice and sturdy.
So the carpretender quickly whipped up 2 benches, to try and gauge the feel of the place, again more joy was had.
Then i buttoned up / finished the remaining end wall, well aside for the door, that i will see if i can whip up Tuesday.
Also put a sliding dual pane window in the new end wall, we agreed on putting a knob on the glass on the outside so it have to be opned from there.
There are still some gaps ASO to be closed, i am working with a minimum budget here, so scraps will be used.
Pretty sure the place would not pass regulations, and the carpretender, well he is able to do more precise work in the metal he is educated to work in.
But i am pretty sure it will still stand after a few winter storms been by, and also pretty sure we can be dry and warm inside it come winter ( no oven installed yet, that will come later in the year as winter approach )
The benches will be take down style, they can also move a little L or R depending on how much room you need or if you are 3 or 4 shooters.

I will probably be able to shoot from the shed July 4, but the weather gurus have pestered that day with rain and not pleasant wind levels, so we will not be able to celebrate this day as two born in the wrong place Americans would like to.
We might have a delayed July 4 later in the month.
Next week or so, grey skies 0 sun and daytime temperatures around 15 deg C / 59 deg F AND ! of course windy too

Okay we did take 1 hour or R&R in the shed after we stopped building, our dinner we got at 2 in the morning, Ribs on the grill and a couple of chilli sausages.
I think that qualify as a all nighter or at the least a all eveninger.
I fell asleep around 4 in the morning, woke up at 6 needing to take a leak, went back to bed and tried for 2-3 hours more to fall asleep.
So yeah probably no problem falling asleep early today VS the 6 - 10 hours it normally take.
