Skout New Skout Epoch Questions

I ordered a new Skout Epoch and just received it from Skout. I was under the impression that it came with 3 barrel liners. Mine inly came with one. Also, there is no fill probe as shown on the manual. Just a closed bolt. On the right side where the bleeder valve should be, there is a probe but it doesn’t look right. It sticks out quite a bit and looks like it can be easily damaged if the gun tips over to the right side.

Anyone get a new Epoch recently and had these issues?

Thanks.

Bill

They stopped doing 3 liners a long time ago. Also, it appears that they have upgraded the Epoch to the new filling hardware of the EVO. The fill probe sticking out of the side is where you fill.

the 3 barrels was stopped after a few months of it's debut.
the whole package was over 3K with the 3 barrels
discontinued because they felt they were pricing themselves out of the market and people really didn't understand the 3 barrels
the foster fitting was moved when they changed to a bottle valve shut off ...there was no need for 2
have not had any problems/dammage with the fittings location...can easily be switched to the other side when depressurised if you prefer it on left

Apparently people were blowing the o rings out of the old shut off valve design, by opening it too quickly. Therefore they changed it over to the Evo valve, only downside is moving the bottle forward roughly 1.5". I've got 3 barrels in .30 and I'm plenty happy with one .22 LW barrel.

If you have any questions/problems, Skout is going to take care of you immediately.

Got mine a week ago and have the same questions. Fill probe is ok with me. Not sure how to bleed the plenum unless it's the hex head plug on the right side where they show the old bleeder valve. Looks like a few refinements in recent months. I suspect the absence of barrel sleeves is to cut prices.
You bleed the plenum here: new valve is on/off/bleed
