OK I've had no problem hitting beer cans at 100 yards with my scoped Hw30. I have with my other scoped Weihrauchs, but the 30 makes me feel best about it. I've recently moved to where there's more room and tolerance towards guns.
My neighbor has been kind enough to let me shoot on to his property. He set a milk jug at 435 yards for us. We still ain't hit it. But I did set up a 3" and 6" AR500 plate at 160 yards. It's become old hat hitting them with 22lr and 223 so I figure why not put a couple of mild steel plates and give it go with the springers. I'm using thinner plates so I can hear the tink clearer. One has about three times the area as a beer can and the other about the same area as a beer can.
These are pictures of the new plates relative to my normal 100 yard beer can reference and pictures of my current arrangement.
What say you? Hw30 or any HW springer at 160?
