Benjamin New style pumper scope?

Just out of curiosity I spent some time looking for an ultra compact scope that could be fitted to a pumper that would not extend past the receiver, allowing full access to the grip area. I ran across this unusual option, a zero eye relief scope for non-recoiling airguns. Since it can be mounted 2 to 3 inches further back than normal, it should not extend past the receiver. Finding a scope mount that attaches to the receiver is still a problem, but Baker has one that fits the newer 397/392. An interesting alternative to a scout scope.

The only thing to consider when mounting a scope that far back is it may interfere with with how you carry the rifle. I carry my rifles by the stocks wrist and scopes with little eye relief hang over a good deal of the wrist, That sometimes causes occular to hit my hand while carrying. IIRC bringing the rifle to shoulder too. It won't be a big deal if you don't carry your pumper or you hold it differently when you do. Just something to consider. I've had to jockey scopes around or move them a little more forward to keep some hand clearance around the wrist.
