If you are a veteran, you can get a sightron direct from them for 1k with their 35% discount. You just need to send them a copy of your dd214 or id.Is there a competitive scope that's under 1k (new) for WFTF?
Hey MD, Sightron prices went way up, their normal price is 1500 ish for a sightron 10-50x60. Even with the LE/Verteran discount theyre at 1200 bucks.....no thank you....used to buy them for 860 years back.......BCIf you are a veteran, you can get a sightron direct from them for 1k with their 35% discount. Your math is incorrect. 35% of 1500 is 525. I purchased my sightron last month shipped with sunshade after discount for a tick over $1000 so what i stated was correct.Hey MD, Sightron prices went way up, their normal price is 1500 ish for a sightron 10-50x60. I tried buying a scope a while back and their LE/Vet price was 1200. So I said no thanks to them. Thats good their prices have dropped for us. But im good on equipment.Your math is incorrect. 35% of 1500 is 525. I purchased my sightron last month shipped with sunshade after discount for a tick over $1000 so what i stated was correct.
Sadly in case youve not noticed, EVERYTHING has increased in price for reasons we cannot discuss here.
I looked at the Heras, but I think the 15x on the forced kneeling and standing lanes would be tough.Strange you should ask that. I shoot WFTF piston. Don't know how competitive these will be...Here's what I was researching. Too bad Heras isn't an illuminated reticle. Wonder if it'll survive double recoiling springers.

Currently re-testing this one right now.I looked at the Heras, but I think the 15x on the forced kneeling and standing lanes would be tough.
How well does the 32x on the Mueller and Athlon at ranging effectively?
Here's another two. Don't know if the Monstrum focuses down to 10 yards. I know their 6-24X does focus down to 10 yards. They also make 6-36X and 8-32XIs there a competitive scope that's under 1k (new) for WFTF?
I saw that one too, but I don’t like that NATO reticleDvor is having a sale on
Nikko Stirling Diamond Sportsman 10-50x60 NATO Rifle Scope
$677
MSRP is over $1,000...you'll have to join the site to see the sale price (limited sale, 6 days left and counting).
I would be all over this deal...unfortunately, It has a strange NATO reticle and I don't think it's illuminate (I could be wrong)
The main intent is WFTF, but I'd like the option to dial it down and use for HFTIf the intent is WFTF, reticle doesn't matter much.
You're going to be dialing the turret, not holdover.

I still have the Mueller 8 to 32. It ranged nice in the beginning. I modified a utg wheel to fit, but the mechanism inside got sloppy fairly quickly, less than a season. I have not had it on a springer. Maybe I should throw it on the rws 48 to finish it off.Strange you should ask that. I shoot WFTF piston. Don't know how competitive these scopes will be...Here's what I was researching. Too bad Heras doesn't have an illuminated reticle. There was already a comment that the Heras reticle was too fine (not ideal on a dark lane and/or a dark face plate). Wonder if it'll survive double recoiling springers.
