New tank for a NOOB....

First PCP and have a couple of questions.
I got a new 88ci CF tank, 3000 psi regulator and fill adapter. My Marauder arrives tomorrow.
1. Should I lubricate the O'rings on the tank connections? I have silicone grease on hand.
2. Is Teflon tape required if using O'rings?

This is all new to me so I want to learn to do it right.

If the tank is a K or din valve lubing the oring with a light coat of silicone grease will keep the ring from drying out and when they dry out they won’t hold air pressure . I didn’t use Teflon tape on the valve that screws into the neck of the tank as there is an oring there to stop air leaks I don’t think it would hurt if you did 1 layer of tape
