I never use a scope for "glassing"...I do have night vision optics but I use binoculars for "glassing' and only use the night vision gear if I spot something or see movement.

I’m not sure about electronic scopes but in a previous life wearing night vision goggles for hours at a time my eyes would be wrecked. The next day felt like someone had rubbed sand in my eyes.

Thank you JR! I wonder though if it will always be an issue. I bet the propeller hat wearing clan might "science the S#!T" out of this and at least reduce the effect. One can dream!
