HW/Weihrauch New TBT kit for the HW45?

Has anyone tried the new TBT kit for the HW45? I want to tame the beast, my HW45 has been banished to the firearm safe in the building in my backyard. That’s where my airguns that I don’t like to shoot go so I don’t have to look at them. This new kit looks interesting and might be the answer. I would love to get some input from people that have tried it.

I watched this today and I think he said the power was about the same as factory spring.

I know nothing about this kit, but have had an HW 45 for many years (actually a Beeman P1 from the first year they were made) and love it. You might find this thread by expert tuner "Stevoo" of interest. Note in particular his comments on optimum piston weight, which was adversely affected by whatever kit he was referring to back in 2020.

Another key to HW 45 happiness (discussed by Stevoo in another thread which I can't find!), is simply to use light pellets. Faster shot cycle = less recoil effect = more pleasant shooting and better accuracy. Mine loves JSB 7.3 Exacts.

Yep, I read this post a while back and decided to leave it alone, seemed like a lot of trial and error. Mine is a .22 cal. so light pellets are not an option. I am going to try to use the factory steel guide/tophat to keep more weight in the piston.

Haven't shot mine enough to tell about anything. My intention was to shoot it this PM. I put some foam insulation on the back of the bullet trap to curb some of the tink sound as a pellet or worse, a 22 LR strike. After I take the tape off maybe I can get a few rounds through. I will clean it first. It is probably cleaned, from a reliable seller, it was. AOA. I have no light pellets in 177. Maybe I can find an old partial tin of RWS target pellets. Just for fun. Bust a chip mine says San Rafael so is that an older one? Be Well, cdito.
I jiggled this up on the inner screen.

Beeman Air Rifle Headquarters was located in San Rafael, California from 1974 to 1987. The company moved to Santa Rosa, California in 1988.

Explanation
Beeman Air Rifle Headquarters was located in San Rafael from 1974 to 1987. The company published the 14th edition of their catalog from San Rafael in 1986. The company then moved to Santa Rosa, California in 1988.

The company's headquarters were located in Santa Rosa from 1988 until it was sold in 1994.

Your serial number should confirm the actual year it was made.

I got mine from AOA back in 2019, it was extremely dry, no worries about dieseling. It came with low power only, so I sent it back and they put both power levels in it. Came back that time just as dry. It’s weird to me to hear that some come with some grease in them. I did have to readjust the trigger which was much easier than I expected, probably the best one out of all of my springers.
