Way out in the country, haha. Milford / Highland area ."crusher75060"Brian, what part of MI? I grew up near detroit. Wayne and Westland actually.
Crusher
YES. I haven't had mine beyond 37 yards, but one reason I bought it is they are known to be excellent long range shooters. A friend of mine @zx10wall has his set to shoot the heavies at 900-905 (60+ fpe) and it's a 100 yard tack driver."gto19"Will these shoot accurately out to 100 yards ?
if so I want one !!
Ok I want one now ! I’m only familiar with springers ...never shot a pcp .how do you fill it with air ? What’s the easiest simplest set up filling it up ?Brian.in.MI

FT in Milford? That's weird, I grew up in an apple orchard in Milford. Early 90's I was in my early 20's and still shooting the .20 Sheridan from my teen years. Small world"Quad82"Brian, didn’t know you lived by Milford. I thought you were north around Clare. In the early 90s I use to shoot FT in Milford. It was at an apple orchard. Nice score on the Cricket!
Hey man, just saw your reply. This thing is sweet. I'm torn between leaving it how E.Rowe set it up, or going for more FPE and distance with the heavies. I'm leaning toward not changing anything. All I've done is sight it in with Pmags and went hunting. Everything I point it at just dies instantly. Was practicing today shooting walnuts off the tree (they're the size of a squirrel head) A red squirrel was yapping at me the whole time but I refrained. The shot was too easy! Ok, I was wearing flip flops and didn't feel like retrieving it where it would have landed, haha."zx10wall"This Cricket is ready to be tuned for the 34 gr JSB’s. With the added plenum (regulated air space) it’s screaming to send the King Heavies at 900 plus. The added gauge which reads the reg pressure is a super sweet feature. Don’t get me wrong, 48 FPE with the 25 gr, which most any factory .25 Cricket can achieve, is great and excellent for hunting. However, indulging in the power is more funas long as you can harness it and produce awesome accuracy. Man, hunting those squirrels has got to be a great time. Regardless whether you tinker with it or not, you’ve got a really nice Cricket there bro.
I talked to Charlie at Georgia Airguns ( my .25 ships out tomorrow ) and he said the CZ barrels seem to like 940-960fps. When he told me mine was shooting 960fps with.25gr JSB and stacking them @ 40yds I asked what the effect would be if I turned it down to just under 900fps and that is when he told me about the preference of the CZ barrels."Brian.in.MI"Great stuff, guys! Very encouraging. What are you all shooting, 25gn or 34? It's set up to shoot 25gn at 930's. I'm thinking about bumping up the reg to shoot heavies at 900-910. Worth it?
What’s the restriction in the fill port?"MP44"I ordered a .25 Cricket from Charlie at Georgia Airguns this morning. I am having him remove the restriction in the fill port, which was my only complaint with a .22 Cricket I use d to own.
Does anyone make single shot trays for the Cricket?
If you hand pump you wouldn't"DeutschKSK"It makes it so you can’t pressurize the rifle too fast.. it’s a safety thing and I like it.
