New (to me) Cricket mini Carbine .22

Thanks Keith @kdog. Still loving the Bantam .177 too, such a good shooter, especially off hand...

@scrane, nice Mini. The Monte Carlo stock gives it a totally different look. How do you like the MTC Viper Connect? I have the smaller one on my FWB 601 SSP, and its a great fit for that gun...

I had this one sent from Portugal when they first became available. I don't know if the Monte Carlo stock was marketed in the states. The only thing I don't like is the square forearm which can be scarred by the swivel bipod (thus the protective duct tape "bling").

With its wide field of view, sharp optics and excellent reticle, I think the Connect is one of the best hunting scopes available if you can get it to fit your gun. It works great on my Mini and in my opinion the Mini and Connect make an excellent compact, lightweight and ergonomic .22 package.

Centercut

@hubertus, I’m not sure. I don’t think it’s threaded. It appears the end cap is press fit and glued.

@peskadot671, they are about the same quiet, but have different tones. Both are quiet enough that a mouse fart would be considered offensive next to them.

Was just curious. I also have one of Neil Clague's moderators. It's one of his standard versions. 8" x 1.2" I believe. I've tried comparing his moderator to DonnyFL's Sumo, Fat Boy, Koi, and Tanto and you're right. They're all very effective with slight differences in sound signature. I love DonnyFL's moderators but Neil Clague makes some impressive moderators as well. Can't go wrong with either. Thanks.
